Abstract

This special issue of the journal Mathematics in Engineering, Science and Aerospace entitled Applied Mathematical Techniques in Engineering Applications and Related Topics-I is primarily devoted to papers from the International Conference on Mathematical Techniques in Engineering Applications
(ICMTEA 2013), which was successfully held at the Graphic Era University, Dehradun, India on 24-25 October, 2013.
The topics presented in this issue are related to the applications of applied mathematics in various fields such as computer science, mechanical engineering, image processing, reliability engineering, etc. The mathematical methods are also used for analysis of production of biodiesel and sorption
isotherms in weaning food which are of great practical importance.
