Multi-state k-out-of-n type system analysis
Abstract
This paper deals with the study of reliability measures of a system, which is a combination of two subsystems handling by a human operator. The subsystem-1 is having three parallel units and working under the 2-out-of-3:F policy and the subsystem-2 is connected with subsystem-1 in a series configuration. The units of subsystem-1 have different types of failure and two types of repairs namely general repair and Gumbel-Hougaard family copula distribution. The important reliability measures
of the system are calculated by using the supplementary variable technique and Laplace transform.
