Explicit solution of solitary wave equation with compact support by natural homotopy perturbation method

Abstract

In this paper, exact solution of solitary wave with compact support is successfully obtained using a new computational technique called the Natural Homotopy Perturbation Method (NHPM). The proposed computational technique is a combination of the Natural Transform Method (NTM) and the Homotopy Perturbation Method (HPM). The new computational technique avoids round off errors and reduces the computational size. The nonlinear terms in the solitary waves equation are elegantly computed using He’s polynomials. The analysis of the proposed computational technique is clearly illustrated.
