Abstract

The issues 3 & 4, vol. 10 of journal MESA contain extended variants of selected papers presented at mini-symposium "Nonlinear Problems of Guidance, Navigation and Control" during the 12th International Conference on Mathematical Problems in Engineering, Aerospace and Sciences (ICNPAA World Congress 2018), Yerevan, Armenia, 3--6 July 2018, and also some invited papers. In these issues, the important control problems are considered for civil aviation and aerospace engineering, for the UAV, and also for space and land robotics. Important control problems for binary dynamic systems also are studied here.

Among the invited articles we highlight the review by Prof. B. Andrievsky with an analysis of all known mathematical techniques in the Speed-gradient method (first proposed in Russia) and various applications of this method to control problems for mobile mechanical systems in the aerospace and engineering.

We would like to express gratitude to all authors for presenting their papers and best wishes to the reviewers for their work. We invite new authors to participate in the mini-symposium "Nonlinear Problems of Guidance, Navigation and Control in Aerospace" during the 13th International Conference on Mathematical Problems in Engineering, Aerospace and Sciences (ICNPAA World Congress 2020), Prague, Czech Republic,
June 23-26, 2020, http://icnpaa.com/index.php/icnpaa/ICNPAA2020, with the subsequent submission of their extended articles to the MESA Journal.
