Preface: Recent trends in fractional operators and their applications in science and engineering

Abstract

This special issue "Recent Trends in Fractional Operators and their Applications in Science and Engineering" of the journal Mathematics in Engineering, Science and Aerospace (MESA) is primarily devoted to papers presented during 2nd International Conference on Mathematical Modeling, Applied Analysis and Computation (ICMMAAC-19), which was successfully held at the JECRC University, Jaipur, India during August 8-10, 2019. This special issue is mainly focused to address a wide range of fractional derivatives and integrals, and their utilizations in different areas of physics, chemistry, biology, engineering, finance and social sciences. In this special issue, expository and original research articles
dealing with the recent advances on the topics of fractional calculus and special functions as well as their applications in science and engineering are presented. Some are invited papers.
