On the properties of The UD differential and integral operator

Abstract

This article is devoted to investigating Ujlayan - Dixit derivative or the UD derivative approach to compute the fractional derivative of a function and discuss it's analytic properties. The operator is defined as ordinarily and not obtained from any consequence of a physical phenomenon. We derive useful results for the proposed differential and integral operators. Solved problems reflect how this approach works and generalizes the ordinary case.
