Abstract

In today's rapidly evolving and digitalizing world, reliability engineering is facing new challenges. Every product's design, testing, and efficient production must include an effective reliability programme. In this research, we use intuitionistic fuzzy set theory to provide a new approach for analyzing the fuzzy system reliability of a series and parallel system. The paper examines the reliability using various types of intuitionistic fuzzy numbers. The paper describes a method for determining the reliability of a skim-milk powder- production system. With the set of three intuitionistic Triangular Fuzzy Number (TIFN), an averaging-operator with equal weights is utilized. For demonstration purposes, a mathematical example is solved.
