On dynamics of tumor-immune system under the influence of random fluctuations

Abstract

In this paper we propose a simple dynamic model of tumor-immune system. Such a model is able to describe the dynamics of tumor cell population under the influence of random fluctuations and is in the form of a stochastic differential equation driven by multiplicative Gaussian noise. We analyze the model and establish necessary conditions for extinction and persistence of tumor cells. The results are illustrated by computer simulations.
