Cryptography using chaotic discrete-time delayed Hopfield neural networks

Abstract

A cryptosystem is proposed, based on a class of chaotic discrete-time delayed Hopfield neural networks of two non-identical neurons with no self-connections previously analyzed by E. Kaslik and S. Balint [Journal of Nonlinear Science, 18(4): 415-432, 2008]. The security of this cryptosystem is discussed and some simulations are presented which illustrate its efficiency.
