On the nonautonomous n-competing species problem

Abstract

We consider a nonautonomous system which describes competition among n species, and give conditions under which the system is permanent. We also give additional conditions which provide global stability of all the positive solutions. Thus we prove theorems in the spirit of the works of Ahmad and Lazer [1], [2], [3], Redheffer [4], [5] and Tineo [6], [7], [8].
