Generalized Quasilinearization Method for Integro-Differential Equations

Abstract


The generalized quasilinearization technique is applied to obtain a monotone sequence of approximate solutions converging uniformly and quadratically to a solution of a first order Volterra integro-differential equation. The rapid convergence of the sequence of approximate solutions has also been discussed.
