Superior Tent Map

Abstract

Stability of the tent map has been studied in Picard orbit. The map is stable for 0 <µ < 1 in Picard orbit. In 2005, Rani and Kumar studied the stability of the logistic map in superior orbit and found the highly enhanced stability of the map. In this paper, we study the stability of the tent map via superior iterates and find satiability of the map for µ upto 11. Our work is supported by computational and mathematical analysis along with various graphical presentations
