Abstract

In designing the adaptive controllers, the Lyapunov theory can be used as a powerful tool that can prevent the system from facing unstable situations. By satisfying its condition, the desired controller can be obtained. Compare to other chaotic control methods, The controller based on the above mentioned method is particularly simple and practical, with no need for a precise system model. Having the system dimension is solely enough for this controller. The main purpose of this paper is to investigate the capability of this control method by applying it in some chaotic systems and demonstrating its rapid success rate in stabilizing the fixed unstable point of these systems and also comparing it with the state feedback controller.
