On existence and applications of non-unique fixed points via interpolative type contractive conditions

Abstract

We study the non-unique fixed points of a self-mapping via interpolative type contraction and present novel answers to the “Non-unique Fixed-Point Problem” as well as “Fixed-Disc Problem (Fixed-Circle Problem)”. We attain fixed point, fixed- disc (resp. fixed-circle) theorems and validate these by illustrative examples. Also, we give applications to “Motion of a Rotation of cable ”and “Rectified Linear Unit” activation functions.
