Abstract

The current course of investigation deals with implementation of generalized $\left(\frac{G'}{G}\right)$-expansion method to establish exact solutions of (2+1)-dimensional variable coefficients potential Kadomstev-Petviashvili equation. The obtained solutions contain various type of functions such as trigonometric, hyperbolic and polynomial functions. This shows the applied method simplifies the intricate dynamics of the equation and can be further applied to such other equations. In real dynamic systems, the obtained solutions depict different structures, which might have potential role to play in the sphere of physics and engineering.
