A generalization of the Prandtl method for orthotropic beams

Abstract


For the boundary value problem of the Electrostatics of orthotropic beams loaded on the lateral surface and on the ends, we construct the solution by means of stress functions. This is a natural generalization of the well known Almansi's problem, and, in the same time, a generalization of Prandtl method for classical problem of torsion
