Decoupled longitudinal flight equilibriums for a model plane

  • Marinel Iordan

Abstract

The objective of this paper is to find the longitudinal flight equilibriums for a model plane in two hypothesis: 1) the flight is governed by a simplified system of differential equations; 2) the flight is governed by the general system of differential equations. The sets of equilibriums are compared and it is shown that there are equilibriums of the simplified system which are not equilibriums of the general system and there are equilibriums of the simplified system which are equilibriums of the general system. Stability analysis is undertaken along the equilibrium path of the simplified system.
