Application of cubic bipolar intuitionistic fuzzy sets to Thrombosis diagnosis using TOPSIS technique under various aggregation operators
Abstract
Several forms of the intuitionistic fuzzy TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) method have emerged as effective mathematical tools in the medical field to manage ambiguity in various multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) scenarios. The theory of Cubic Bipolar Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets (CBIFSs) also demonstrates strong potential for addressing such problems. In this work, we propose an enhanced CBIF-TOPSIS approach based on an updated closeness index and a normalized Euclidean distance. To achieve improved decision-making outcomes, we compare the results of the CBIF-TOPSIS method under various aggregation operators.
