Abstract

This research analyses a prior mathematical framework that represents the epidemiology model for Hepatitis B disease in Ambon City. The relevant four compartments that constitute the framework, such as Susceptible, Exposed, Infected, as well as Recovered, are solved analytically using Homotopy analysis technique. The approximate analytical expressions for all of the four different compartments are provided. To show their effects, a variety of model parameter types are visually depicted. Tables are demonstrating the effects of the parameters on the outcomes. With this strategy, the error approximation attains relatively small values. A satisfactory fit between the numerical simulation (MATLAB) and the approximate analytical results is obtained.
