A Study on Reliability of a System using Cauchy- Triangular Fuzzy Number

Abstract

In this paper, a new form of fuzzy number named as Cauchy-Triangular fuzzy number is introduced. An ?-cut of Cauchy Triangular fuzzy number is defined and the arithmetic operations are explained and the numerical examples and graphical representations are given. A comparison study of combination of Cauchy Fuzzy Numbers with different types of Triangular Fuzzy Numbers and reliability analysis using above numbers and mean and Variance are analyzed with the help of different fuzzy numbers. Reliability Evaluation of Bridge construction problem is calculated with the help of different types Cauchy Fuzzy Numbers.
