Abstract

This work is devoted to analyzing the asymptotic behavior of a flexible marine riser system, accounting for vessel dynamics and thermal effects modeled as a thermo-viscoelastic problem. On this matter, we establish decay results of the energy to the equilibrium under a very weak conditions on the kernel, we achieve our goal by choosing a suitable control.
