Abstract

The authors consider boundary value problems for nonlinear fractional differential equations with bounded linear functional boundary conditions.  The explicit expression of the equivalent integral operator for the BVP is obtained.  Then, the Contraction Mapping Principle and the Schauder-Tychonoff Fixed Point Theorem are used for the existence of positive solutions.  Two examples are given to show the applicability of the main results.
